Dr. Lawrence Schiffman, vice provost for undergraduate education at 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ, will speak at the opening of a new exhibition in the on October 23. Titled "," the exhibition traces over 2,000 years of the Bible through examples of some of the most important Biblical texts to be seen in Israel, including texts from the Septuagint, the Cairo Geniza and the Gutenberg Bible. Dr. Schiffman will deliver a lecture titled, "The Bible and Its Interpretation in the Dead Sea Scrolls."
